Matt McCorkle grew up swimming in Virginia and loves summer swim where kids train and compete with their friends. Matt's favorite events were long distance freestyle. Matt and Carrie have three girls on Spotswood - Madeline, Allison and Emily - and have been members since 2017. Matt works as the Director of Branch Operations for Kaeser Compressors in Fredericksburg, VA.
Stephen DeLorme, has been involved in summer swim team activities for over a decade in Northern Virginia, and now in Fredericksburg. Our family has been members of the pool and the Spotswood Sea Serpents summer swim team since 2022. Stephen and Angie have three children: Skylar (18), Tirzah (17) and Deckard (15). Stephen works for Microsoft supporting various customers within and around the region.
Daniel Belcher is a lifetime Spotsylvania resident. Daniel works for the federal government as a Division Manager and Contracting Officer for the Navy. Daniel grew up in sports including summer swim and high school swim at Ponax, where backstroke and 500 freestyle were his events of choice. A competitor at heart, Daniel spends most of the year coaching youth soccer teams for his kids, Lileigh, Lucy and Solomon and their friends. Daniel, Nikki and the kids have been with the Sea Serpents since 2022.
Erin Lysher is not a great swimmer, but she loves watching her kids swim. Erin works part time as a middle school math teacher at St. Patrick’s Catholic School. Erin’s husband, Michael, was an avid swimmer since a young age through high school. Their kids have been swimming for the Sea Serpents since 2021. They have 4 kids - Emma (11), Cece (9), and Thomas (6) swim on the team and Patrick (2) is a loving spectator.
Brad and Corinne Kramer joined the Sea Serpents in 2025 after moving to Fredericksburg from Alexandria. A former competitive distance and breaststroke swimmer from Central Ohio, Brad has spent years supporting his daughter Caelyn’s swimming, including helping manage her previous team in Alexandria. The Kramers moved to the area in 2024 and quickly fell in love with the family-oriented atmosphere at Spotswood. Professionally, Brad serves as a senior advisor for government IT programs.
